Our supporters have run marathons, swum lakes and jumped out of planes for us but you don’t have to be an athlete to get our support. Sometimes you just need information for your fundraising page, or an encouraging word or two. Get in touch to talk through your event and we’ll see what we can do to help.
Some bake biscuits, others organise seemingly impossible challenge events. There are limitless ways to raise money for Sentebale. Our toolkit gives you some helpful guidance on how you can represent Sentebale, but let us know what you’re doing and we’ll see how we can help.
Give your guests the option of supporting Sentebale instead of buying a gift. Just choose your fundraising portal and we’ll help with the rest.
Adam and Henry have run fundraising events for Sentebale before, corralling colleagues into their ever more ludicrous physical challenges like their 3,000 burpee challenge. This time Adam, Henry and 3 friends rowed 1 million metres in 24 hours, raising more than £135,000 for Sentebale.
Dylan and Alex work for the same organisation and were planning to run a marathon for Sentebale before the Covid 19 pandemic arrived. Despite cancellations they trained through the pandemic and ran their events in October 2021 instead. Dylan ran the Virgin London Marathon and Alex ran the Chester Marathon on the same day. Together they raised more than £1500 for Sentebale.
From swimathons to sponsored sports days, the students at St Mary Abbots are some of Sentebale’s most active young fundraisers to date! We were thrilled to attend a school assembly and share the difference their support will make to the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho.
