1 – Event timings: General Admission Ticket Holders

2 – Transport:

Hampton Court Palace is situated only a few minutes’ walk from Hampton Court Station which is on a direct line to and from London Waterloo. There are 2 trains per hour from London Waterloo with the direct trains, which take 40 minutes from central London. Visit southwesttrains.co.uk to book your ticket or call 0845 6000 650.
Hampton Court Palace is situated to the South West of Central London and is close to Kingston Upon Thames. It is 20 minutes from junctions 15, 12 and 10 off the M25.
Complimentary parking facilities a few minutes’ walk from the Palace are available to ticket holders. Please follow the Hampton Court Palace Music Festival car parking signs that be will be present on all major approach roads. Car Parks will be open from 5pm onwards and until one hour after the end of the performance. For drivers using sat nav systems, please enter the postcode KT8 9AU and follow the parking signs for the Festival once in the area.
Local bus services R68, 411, 111 & 216 also serve Hampton Court Palace.
There are limited disabled parking spaces in the Palace car park and this is allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
3 – Event facilities and services:
The nearest ATM is outside the Hampton Court Train station, concessions and bars will accept cards.
Bottled water and ponchos will be on-sale on site prior to the concert.
Left Luggage Facilities – Food and Drink cannot be taken in to the Palace however, there is a complimentary facility for guests to leave their picnics in the Gardens and collect post-concert.
Food and Drink – There are bars and food concessions in the formal gardens, these close 15 minutes prior to the concert starting. Ticket holders may bring their own picnic into the gardens to consume in advance of the concert.
No Food and Drink can be taken in to the Palace with the exception of bottled water. However, there is a complimentary facility for guests to leave their picnics during the concert and collect afterwards.
Toilets – There are toilet facilities (including disabled toilets) in the East Front Gardens and also within the Palace.
Strobe lighting – Please note that it is likely that acts performing on the stage will use strobe lighting as part of their performance.
Lost Property- Lost property will be taken to the main entrance.
4 – Rules and Regulations:
Bag Search – All bags will be searched on entry into the Palace. Any bags too large to fit neatly under a seat must be left at the “left picnic” facility.
Weather – The majority of the auditorium is open air so please arrive with appropriate dress if the weather is forecast cold or wet. Umbrellas are not allowed in the auditorium as they block the view of fellow guests.
Smoking and Vaping is not allowed anywhere inside the Palace including the courtyards and auditorium
Behaviour – Illegal and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and will lead to ejection from the Event.
Drinking alcohol at the Event – When purchasing alcohol at the Event, if you appear to be under the age of 25 you may be asked for valid identification that you are aged 18 or over. You will not be permitted to take alcohol into the Palace from the East Front Gardens, bag searches will be in operation.
Age Restrictions – The Event welcomes guests of all ages, however all guests must purchase a ticket for the performance. Parents are responsible for the suitability of the concert and environment for infants. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 years or over at all times. HRP reserves the right to determine the ratio of adults in relation to children required for adequate supervision.
Refunds and exchanges – Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned unless the event is cancelled.
5 – Prohibited items
The following items are not permitted:
- Air horns, bicycles, cans, Chinese lanterns, dangerous or hazardous weapons / items, fireworks, flags, gas canisters, glass (of any kind), klaxons and other similar items capable of making loud noise. Laser pens, scooters, skateboards or cans and spray cans are also prohibited;
- In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all patrons, we reserve the right to conduct security searches of persons, clothing, bags and all other items on entry and exit, to confiscate items which may cause danger or disruption to the Event with no refunds;
- Any bags too large to fit neatly under a seat must be left at the “left picnic” facility;
- Animals, with the exception of assistance dogs, are not permitted at any time;
- Unauthorised professional photography or filming equipment is strictly prohibited. Your bags will be searched upon entry to the event and cameras will be permitted at the security team’s discretion, so if in doubt don’t bring it!
6 – Video and Sound recordings
Please note that film cameras may be present at the Event. By entering the Event and /or purchasing Tickets, ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording (which may include you as a member of the audience) and its use in distribution (commercial or otherwise) without any payment.
