Sentebale Brings Easter Family Fun Day To Maseru

Maseru, 18 March 2026 – This Easter holiday, Sentebale will host its Easter Family Fun Day on the 6th of April 2026, at The Mamohato Children’s Centre (MCC) at Lihaseng Village in Thaba-Bosiu. The day promises to be a joyful, community‑focused celebration for children in Maseru and their families.

For more than two decades, Sentebale has committed to bolstering youth-focused support systems in Lesotho, creating spaces of safety and care where children are nurtured emotionally, socially, and physically. The MCC stands at the heart of this work as a beacon of safety, healing and empowerment for young people. Furthermore, the centre is a community asset and was built as a place where children can regain their confidence, make friends and discover their own potential.

Marking an exciting milestone for Sentebale, the Easter Family Fun Day builds on the success of Sentebale’s recent movie day held last month and introduces a unique, immersive family experience that blends fun, creativity and purposeful community engagement.

A Must-Attend Family Experience

Selloane Taole, Programme Coordinator at Sentebale, says the venue will transform into a colourful, high-energy space where families can celebrate the Easter season. “The centre provides families with an alternative, safe space within their community – one that is accessible, dependable, and designed to support young people and their families. The Mamohato Children’s Centre has become an integral part of community life in the area as a trusted location for support, learning, and engagement.”

On the day, families can look forward to a magical Easter egg hunt, carnival games, an interactive creative corner, live music, dance and entertainment for all ages.
