Sentebale Christmas Carols 2018
On Monday 10th December, Sentebale hosted its annual Christmas Carol Concert at Holy Trinity Sloane Street. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and new friends supporting our work. Nights like these bring the Sentebale family together and allow us to celebrate the achievements of the teams and the young people we serve. It was a fantastic opportunity to come together to commit ourselves to supporting a generation of children and young people affected by HIV.
We hope you’ll agree it was a beautiful service, and we would like to thank the Mandarin Oriental for sponsoring the event and hosting a delicious festive spread of mulled wine and mince pies at the end of the service, and Princess and Ko for decorating the church. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful performances of Silent Night and Ave Maria by Laura Wright, the readings by Sentebale Ambassador Laura Main, Victoria Yeates, and Gabriella, Ava and Richard from the Holy Trinity School who read on stories of children attending our programmes of camps and clubs in Lesotho.
With your generous support, through events like this we are able to continue to deliver life-saving work to children and young people affected by HIV in Lesotho, Botswana, and Malawi. Our programmes are fuelled by supporters like you, on nights like last night. We have a busy 2019 ahead of us, and we hope you can all play a part in the future of these young people’s lives.
