Treat someone special for Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day 2017
Sentebale, which means ‘forget me not’ in the language of Lesotho, was founded in memory of the late mothers of our Founding Patrons, Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso, to support orphans and vulnerable children in sub-Saharan Africa affected by HIV and AIDS. Mother’s Day is therefore an especially poignant day in our work.
To raise vital funds and awareness over Mother’s Day this year, Sentebale have partnered with Blogger Lucinda Robins of The London Mummy to bring our supporters a handpicked selection of gifts that are sure to please this Mother’s Day, with a percentage of proceeds from sales going to supporting Sentebale’s work with vulnerable children in sub-Saharan Africa.
SAY IT WITH FLOWERS
Sentebale means Forget Me Not in Lesotho, a flower that features alongside Pink Tulips and Sweet Avalanche Roses in this beautiful arrangement, specially created for Sentebale by luxury florist Moyses Stevens for Mother’s Day.

About The London Mummy
Lucinda is a London-based mother of three young children, and creator of The London Mummy blog; an insider’s guide for busy mothers who want a snapshot of the latest products, places and people. Sentebale are delighted to partner with The London Mummy this Mother’s Day, to raise vital funds for children affected by HIV in sub-Saharan Africa.
“Ten years ago I spent time in South Africa and Uganda working alongside children – many without parents – affected by HIV. Not only had they lost their loved ones, but they also didn’t have means to house, feed and educate themselves or their siblings.”
“I am so thrilled to be working with Sentebale this Mother’s Day – raising awareness and funds to support orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho and Botswana. My wish is that the readers of The London Mummy and Sentebale’s newsletter will show their support by treating their mother’s to one of these brilliant Mother’s Day gifts, in the knowledge that in doing so they are giving hope to thousands of children in significant need.”
